Lotus Domino Plugin

I'm working on a script that checks to see if the Notes / Domino 
communication port is open, however, it would be very nice if someone with 
some experience with the Domino C or C++ API could create a plugin that 
could get various server statistics. I haven't looked into SNMP yet...
