build plugin on sparc failed

Hi,

I'm building nagios plug-in for Solaris8/SPARC, but never got success.
Although I have gcc, automake, autoconf installed. I don't know what I miss.
What environment did you build with? Etc... gcc version? Any other
requirement?

It's working for me on Solaris 7. What's the problem?

Running configure told me everything that was needed if I wanted to
support one feature or another (samba for example for smbclient).
