Optimal Config for hundreds of passive checks && Hundreds of Nagios procs

Thanks to everyone who chimed in on this thread. The ramdisk seems to have
helped, though I had to change my reaper frequency back to 5. When I had it
at 1, even with the ramdisk, the latency and process count went sky high.
