I'm trying to use the snmp plugin but I think it won't
work in RedHat 8.0.
I've seen RedHat 7 had ucd-snmp. This new version has
net-snmp. The new snmpget won't work from the plugin
because it has different command switches.
That's what the plugin tried to do:
snmpget -m ALL -v 1 server public OID
After trying a lot I managed to get a snmp answer with:
snmpget -m ALL -v 1 -c public server OID
I googled for it and the best I found was the changelog
from redhat snmp. There was something about ucd compatibility
but I couldn't find the switch.
Any hints ? thank you very much.
