Differences between Nagios and Netsaint

I'm trying to explain why I would prefer to use Nagios over Netsaint to my co-administrator and would like to get a bit better list than just "Netsaint is no longer being developed".

Is there a resource that explains the differences/features? Are the bugs that have been found since the name change been fixed in Netsaint as well?

This is only an issue since only the unstable release of Debian's apt-get lists Nagios.
