CHECK_NRPE: Socket timeout after 10 seconds

I am using nrpe under HP-UX 10.20, some Services are getting the folloing 
Status Information :
CHECK_NRPE: Socket timeout after 10 seconds
Where do I set up this to timeouts grater than 10 seconds ?
