Problems Using NRPE 1.8 with HP-UX 10.20

Hi Subhendu,
I was unable to telnet to the host via port 5666.
The command syntax was telnet 'hostname' 5666
The error message was
Could not open a connection to host on port 5666: Connect failed

Can you telnet to the host:port running nrpe?
If so - is the host running nagios on the allowed_hosts list in nrpe.cfg?
