nrpe responses odd

I've finally gotten nrpe installed on some machines today (had been
using the bb->nagios gateway) and noticed something I haven't seen in
testing before.  Some of the nrpe check commands come back with CRITICAL
or WARNING messages, but they are still showing up as green.  Anyone
seen this before?
