Nagios for Dummies

Fernando,

Please post the line from nagios.cfg where "resource.cfg" is specified.  Mine looks
like this:

resource_file=/var/www/nagios/etc/resource.cfg

Does yours look like that?  Is resource.cfg specified anywhere else, like as a
configuration file?  I think that might be your problem.
