Plugin to monitor/test web logins

I'm looking for a Nagios plugin or any script that I
can use to check successful logins to my website over
HTTPS.

I'd appreciate it if someone can guide me in this
regard as I don't have much clue about where to start
from. I'm also not a Web programmer, so I'm asking
this question from a layman's point of view.
