Macro for comment_author and comment_data

Does anyone know if there are macros for the comment_author and
comment_data variables? If not, can anyone make a suggestion on how I
can easily add this functionality. My goal is to add who acknowledged a
problem and the comments to the acknowledgement notification emails. We
are currently running 2.0 from CVS downloaded on 11/3/03 on RedHat 7.3.
