History data sometimes "undetermined"

 For some sun hosts that I check only the ping service, I have full history
data for their uptime; for other sun hosts whose configuration is the same
in hosts.cfg and who have been monitored for the same time, the historical
data is "indeterminate", citing "insufficient data available". Neither of
these hosts have had problems in the past months; they've been up and
running fine. 

 Quite odd. Another spin on this oddity is that I have a windows server with
NSClient running on it nicely. The C drive sends critical warnings because
it is full, yet the history for this host reports "indeterminate" for the c
drive history, while all the other drives show the uptime and downtime
completely. Any ideas?
