Not being paged about a down host

I've got a host that's been down (doesn't ping) since just after midnight
this morning.  One notification went out at that time.  It's still down,
but hasn't been sending notifications every 30 minutes like I have it
configured to (service notifications do repeat like they should).  I'm not
sure what's going on.  Can someone help?
