Nagios 1.1 Seg Faults on Red Hat 9

I built nagios-1.1 on RH 9 with the following config:

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/nagios-1.1 --with-nagios-user=nagios 
--with-nagios-grp=nagios --with-mail=/usr/sbin/sendmail 
--with-command-user=nagios --with-command-grp=nagios 
--with-init-dir=/etc/init.d --with-lockfile=/var/run/nagios/nagios.lock 
--with-mysql-xdata --with-mysql-status --with-mysql-comments 
--with-mysql-extinfo --with-mysql-retention --with-default-objects 
--with-file-perfdata --with-mysql-downtime 
--with-mysql-lib=/usr/lib/mysql/mysql 
--with-mysql-inc=/usr/include/mysql --with-gd-lib=/usr/lib 
--with-gd-inc= --enable-DEBUG0 --enable-DEBUG1 --enable-DEBUG2 
--enable-DEBUG3 --enable-DEBUG4 --enable-DEBUG5 --enable-embedded-perl 
--with-perlcache --with-gd-lib=/usr/lib --with-gd-inc=/usr/include

When I try and start nagios using the install init script, I get this:
syslog:/usr/local/src #/etc/init.d/nagios start
Starting network monitor: nagios
/etc/init.d/nagios: line 167: 20100 Segmentation fault      $NagiosBin 
-d $NagiosCfg
No lock file found in /var/run/nagios/nagios.lock

Any ideas where my problem lies?
