I am having trouble with the check_mrtgtraf command. I have had mrtg
working fine for quite some time. It is on a different box, so I first
tried to pull the log file from the web address where it was available to
no avail. Just to check I then copied a log file over to the nagios box,
in both the libexec and /etc directories and tried to pull them locally by
just the name of the log and with the full directories. I am getting
unable to open MRTG log file errors from the web interface but the command
returns without fuss from the command line. I have made sure that the
ownership and permissions were correct but it still does not work. Does
anyone have an idea as to what is going on or a better way that I can
track monthly bandwidth usage and be alerted? Thanks!
