check_load

The plugin check_load test the current system "average".
In the check_command definition I have to define 3 arguments for each state (warning and critical state).  Those arguments are WLOAD1,WLOAD5 and WLOAD15 for warning state and CLOAD1,  CLOAD5 and CLOAD15 for critical state.

My questions are the following..Can I only define one argument for each state??   
Which is the "meaning" for WLOAD(1), (5) and (15)??? (load readings at 1, 5 and 15 minutes??
