Notifications from warning to critical

Hi,

This morning at 6am, I got an sms from nagios telling
me that a filesystem reached a "warning" status, the
problem escalated and by 9am it reached a critical
state, however, I got no sms... What could be the
problem?

I do have notification_interval set to 0, but I
assumed that nagios would only supress notifications
at the same problem level, or am I wrong?
