Nagios: Scaling to monitor larger networks

Not to answer my own question but I found out if you're defining a host
group you can just split the members line and list as many as you want

define hostgroup {
	hostgroup_name 		my_group
	alias 			my group
	members			host1, host2 host3
	members			host4, host5, host6
	contact_groups		me
}
