Nagios to monitor custom shell scripts

Create passive services for the shell scripts and keep freshness to 
largest possible interval.

Have the shell script determin success/failure of the job and then submit 
a passive update to Nagios.

FYI - don't use Nagios as a replacement for cron - specially with smart 
scheduling.
