Same state notifications

Hi,

 

I have a service that always is critical, but may report back different
status information.  I have set the notification interval to 0 so I
don't get sent notifications that the service is critical, which I know
it is.  I'm wondering if there is a way to have Nagios send
notifications if the service is in the same state, but has different
status information.  So for example if the service is critical and the
status information is 'Error', then the next time it checks and the
service is critical and the status information is 'Error1', it will send
out a notification.  But I don't want to constantly be sent
notifications, only when the status information changes.   Thanks for
