By default, only users who receive notifications (are configured as
contacts) for a host and its particular services are allowed to see the
host, service and status detail. This doesn't work with the
showlog-program, and it can also be overridden by two variables in your
cgi.cfg (authorized_for_all_hosts and authorized_for_all_services).

set it up like this;
user1 is a member of contactgroup hosts_1_to_10_contacts
hosts 1-10 are members of hostgroup hosts_1_to_10
contactgroup hosts_1_to_10_contacts is registered as
notification-targets for the hostgroup hosts_1_to_10
user2 is a member of contactgroup hosts_1_to_4_contacts
hosts 1-4 are members of hostgroup hosts_1_to_4 (yes, it's ok for them
to be in several hostgroups)
contactgroup hosts_1_to_4_contacts is registered as notification-targets
for the hostgroup hosts_1_to_4
You can pick your own names, if you like. ;-)
