nagios statusmap images problem

The image in the pop-up is a direct link to the image so anything your
browser supports will work. I believe the main statusmap images are
generated by gd so the image format needs to be supported.

Under Debian, if you can get jpg's, png's, and gd2's to work but not gif's
then I would assume that your Nagios installation was built against libgd
instead of libgd-gif.
