Subject: [Nagios-users] Apan Unix Disk Check Error Message
Hi there --
I recreated the rrd file without the / symbol and the error that I had
encountered did disappear.
The problem is I am now confronted with a different problem. The web browser
page has the following
error:
Socket error: Connection refused
When I checked the apan.debug file here is the message that I came across:
<Date> <Time> <Year> servername:Disk-usage, Could not insert '' , '1081428314'
into /usr/local/nagios/rrd/<servername>-Disk-usage.rrd
Again I used the apanconf-sql utility to create the rrd file.

Rrdtool does not allow the use of '/' in a ds name, from the rrdtool man
page at
http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/rrdtool/manual/rrdcreate.html
"ds-name is the name you will use to reference this particular data
source from an RRD. A ds-name must be 1 to 19 characters long in the
characters [a-zA-Z0-9_]."
