Hi Steve,
IMHO this could not be correct.
In my case I also monitor Systems with more IP addresses.
One is assigned to the "host check".
I already got the case that.
1. I received HOST down alert, but one Service was still up.
2. Service Down alert Host still up
(And of course the really host down alert - all down)
I think that's what I expected.
