Touble configuring check_flexlm

Hello,

I am a bit lost with this plugin (check_flexlm).  I have loked through the
mailing lists to find more info, but I have not found anything that has
really helped.  What I need to do is use the check_flexlm on some linux
boxes and some Windows boxes.  From what I understand of the procedure,
flexlm must be installed on both the Nagios box and the remote host?
Obviously, I will have to use NRPE to call the plugin on the remote host,
but I don't understand why flexlm has to installed on the Nagios box.

The other problem that I am having is how to use this plugin in a Windows
environment.  So far, the plugins that I have been using in this envirnment
are *.exe files, which is what Windows needs to execute them.  Is there a
Windows version of this plugin, or I missing an important detail here to get
it to work on these boxes.

This is about the last plugin that I have to configure before finishing my
apprenticeship here, and I would very much like to be successful in this.
If anyone has any tips, they will be greatly appreciated!
