An infinite number of things could be wrong. Help us narrow it down. Are you seeing an error message? What is it? Are you seeing any output at all? What is it? Have you tried running the plugins from the command line as the nagios user as they are defined in your commands config file? What happens? What are the host, service and command definitions exactly? What version of Nagios and plugins? How were they installed (source tarball, rpm, deb, etc...)? The more information you can provide us the more helpful we can be. Right now all we have is 'it doesn't work'.

Subject: [Nagios-users] SMTP_CHECK
We´re trying to use serveral plugins like check_smtp and check_http but they seems not to be working or doing nothing at all, the only service from which we receive data is check_ping, what could be going wrong ?
