Nrpe plugin truncating output

I don't think nrpe care about the length - but Nagios does.  Otherwise the 
truncation shoudl be reproduceable.

Can you run the check_nrpe commands through a cron jobs and determine is 
the truncation has any pattern - ie if the plugin is returning a certain 
state or info?
