dump of nagios configuration

Hi guys,
I poked through the Nagios manual in some detail, and i don't believe
i was able to find an answer to this. I am trying to debug a
somewhat complex configuration, and am finding that it would be
very useful to be able to get a dump of what Nagios thinks all of
its configuration variables are. That is, ideally, i could start
Nagios, and it would read its config, and output:
service:
name=my-service
normal_check_interval=30
retry_check_interval=3
...
(for each service, and for all configuration variables, both those
which were declared and those which had taken their default values),
and it would do the same thing for hosts, check commands, etc.
Does anyone have any suggestions about how to get Nagios to output
its configuration variables to this level of detail?
Thanks in advance.
