# Business hours -- 8AM to 6PM on weekdays
define timeperiod {
    timeperiod_name businesshours
    alias       Business Hours
    Monday      08:00-18:00
    tuesday     08:00-18:00
    wednesday   08:00-18:00
    thursday    08:00-18:00
    friday      08:00-18:00
}

just like in the default Nagios configuration.

And note that is just for the *service* not the *host*. And note that I
got the *host alert* during the weekend, which is outside of business
hours. I just didn't get any further alerts. And I continue to not get
any further alerts about the host, even though I'm now well into business
hours. It also doesn't work when it is 24x7 instead of business hours.
