Hi all,
I want to check that my ldap server is running on a linux box named ns2
(remote host).
I have the check_ldap plugin compiled on this host but not on nagios
server.
Can i use nrpe to execute this command to the remote host as following:
$ ./check_nrpe -H ns2 -c check_ldap -a master-ldap.ups-tlse.fr 1389
dc=ups-tlse,dc=fr "cn=root,dc=ups-tlse,dc=fr" xxxxxx
LDAP OK - 0.017 seconds response time|time=17303us;;;0
Or must i install openldap to compile check_ldap on nagios server?
Thanks for your help.
Carole.
