Temperature monitoring

I'm looking for a cheap way to monitor server room temperature as well as
other locations. Can anyone recommend a cheaper solution than the $300 kits
on https://shop.nelix.com/sensatronics/store/productlist.asp

My preference is for an ethernet connected device I can monitor remotely
with nagios.
