mozilla/netscape not fully functional?

Anybody have an explanation why:

Windows Explorer correctly displays the "tooltips" over host/service 
icons when you pass the mouse over them but mozilla/netscape don't show 
it at all.

Also, explorer plays the sounds I've assigned to events but again 
mozilla/netscape do not.
