Check_dns shouldn't be using nslookup in the first place.  When I run
nslookup on Linux the first thing it says is: 

   Note:  nslookup is deprecated and may be removed from future releases. 

I suspect that, like the deprecated ntpdate, it wil hang around for many
years.  But eventually it will go.  So the sooner the plugin switches to
something else, the better.
