Fwd: NRPE and firewalls

I am now allowing all traffic from zone1 to zone2 on any port and I get the
same error message, "NRPE: Unable to read output". I get this when trying
to run manually from command line or if run through Nagios. I have this
same setup duplicated in a different zone (allowing all traffic) and it
works. I am getting nothing from the nrpe log output to the messages file
unfortunately. With that in mind I'm guessing there is a problem with the
client but I can't tell for sure. Any help?
