starting message : NAGIOS CRITICAL - could not find status log: /var/log/nagios/status.log

hello,

I used Nagios with mysql configuration for all, except extend-info (i 
used Nagmin).
When i start Nagios i have this message :
NAGIOS CRITICAL - could not find status log: /var/log/nagios/status.log

In my configuration, status.log is a mysql table.
How daemonchk.cgi does work well with a database configuration?
