Authentication question

I had the .htaccess file in the ./share directory, but not ./sbin. I found the documentation for this to be somewhat circular, but I did eventually find it. Thanks!
Perhaps someday I can help by offering some sort of new docs for that....right after I mow the lawn, fence the yard, wash the cars, etc. ;)
