Nagios 1.0 bug?

This is running on an SGI IRIX box. So upgrading would require a recompile.
This is a critical environment and it would not be easy to upgrade without
some testing.
If I can confirm that this is a bug I would set the upgrade process into
motion.
I was hoping that users had seen this already and that someone can confirm
it.
