check_ping hangs up

ping on your OS doesn't timeout unless you pass it a switch that isn't
in the default ping command defined for check_ping.  Do "man ping", find
out what you need to change, test ping from the command line to check
that you've found the right switches, redefine the ping command in the
plugin source, recompile.
