problem in configuring check_procs

Hi!
i'm trying to configure the command check_procs.the confg file i've written 
is:


define command{
command_name      check_procs
command line          /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_procs -w 3:5 -c 0:3 -p 
2711
                      }

upon verifying the configuration files by /usr/local/nagios/bin -v 
/usr/local/nagios/etc/ngios.cfg
i get the error - could not add object property in the file 
'/usr/local/nagios/etc/checkcommands.cfg'
