You can do anything you like, if you can script it.
So if you can write a Unix script (perl or shell script, probably) that
calls your "servers alive" tool, and returns the result that Nagios
expects, then yes, you can do it. If you're lucky, someone else might
have done it already.
If this doesn't help you, try posting another message with "Servers
Alive" in the subject. May catch someone's attention.
