Nothing. It is just much easier to use and maintain. There is no need to
configure checks on your monitoring clients. Everything can be done on
the Nagios Server. It basically gets you everything that is available in
the Windows Performance Monitor.

Well, we use it for 2 years now and had only very small problems with
it.
