using a mobile to send alerts

Hi All,

I've got nagios all setup and working fine, been using it for a year or 
so.  I've been asked to look into the possibility of hooking up a 
mobile phone so rather then emailing me and the team, it could send a 
sms.  I live in the UK and was wondering if anyone has done this and 
can recommend a phone to use with this? and how hard is it to setup?
