Parents - Logical or Physical?

Define SW1, make it's parent NagiosPC
Define R1, make its parent SW1
Define SW2, make its parent R1

Because SW1 is just a switch, the chances of a break occuring between R1
and SW2 are likely to also affect the ability for SW1 to connect
NagiosPC and R1. If you can do it via SNMP on your switch, you might
want to define two checks for Interface Status where R1 and SW2 connect
to it, as services of SW1.
