My contacts.cfg and my contactgroups.cfg are both set to send notifications for w,u,c,r. I'm beginning to think it's a sendmail issue since I just received the critical alerts a few minutes ago which were supposed to be sent at 2am.
So I'm starting to poing the finger at sendmail.

What abour your contactgroups.cfg and contacts.cfg?
I think you can handle per Group and per Contact what kind of
Notifications should be send out.
