check_disk command

Hi Richard,
Sorry if I wasn't clear.
Typically, you run
check_nrpe (on Nagios server)-> NRPE Daemon on target host -> check_disk
or
check_by_ssh (Nagios) -> sshd on target host -> check_disk
with both methods returning the check_disk results to the Nagios server.
How are you invoking check_disk on the systems that work and on the one that
doesn't? What does the service definition in services.cfg and the check
definition in checkcommands.cfg look like?
Regards,
- Harper

Ok now I'm a little confused, I have Nagios running on a rhel server
talking to two external linux boxes and one belonging to a customer over
a secured vpn, running standard check_disk works fine on the two
external iptables secured boxes but not the box connected to over the
vpn. NRPE Isn't installed on any of these boxes, by what you've just
told me it shouldn't be working on any of them, is this so ?
Thanks in advance
Richard
