Status map

Anybody know what might be the problem in displaying the images in 
status map?

I have this line in cgi.cfg file for a host.

hostextinfo[shb0-e38-01]=switch.gif;switch.gif;nagiosvrml.gd2;Extreme;;;

I have converted a png file to gd2 format.

for all the parents asand and children I see only square boxes!!!

Do I need to make any entries in nagios.cfg file?
