Hello Fernando ,
Can you provide me with your config files . I
tried this options but it did not work either.
-sh-2.05b$ ./check_nrpe -H narmadasunplb -c check_root
-n
CHECK_NRPE: Socket timeout after 10 seconds.
After increasing the timeout value the result is
[nagios at monitorplb src]$ ./check_nrpe -H narmadasunplb
-c check_root -t 20 -n
CHECK_NRPE: Received 0 bytes from daemon. Check the
remote server logs for error messages.
Also i see the following error in my nrpe daemon
running server
Apr 29 13:00:18 narmadasunplb nrpe[6684]: [ID 421412
daemon.error] Could not read request from clien
t, bailing out...
Can you tell me whether login also matter in this case
. i.e if check nrpe on one machine as root and start
nrpe daemon on other machine as nagios user does that
impact.
Thanks in advance.
Mustaquim.
