Nagios -s latency

This is calculated based on normal_check_interval. Do you have some
services with abnormally high check intervals? Using the SMART method I
believe that nagios will spread the checks out evenly over the entire
check window for the initial check. If some are supposed to be high I'd
suggest changing your inter-check delay method to be something else. I
quite happily use 'n' for a dual pIII 700 checking 457 services.
