scheduling queue holds disabled services

Hi all,
i´m having a problem with nagios1.3 : 

During a problem with nrpe i disabled checks for a lot of services, 
Web-Interface shows, that next scheduled active check is not available, but the checks are scheduled and executed and web-interface shows "last update <the actual date>"

Has anyone same problems with scheduling queue and disabling service-checks?
