NS_Client V 2.01 does not have any service checks for process event logs.
Your would need to use transfer over to using a different client on
your Window servers.
options available:
NC_Net Does implement Event Log checks, (It is also a drop in
replacement that should not require any reconfiguring of Nagios
Configs -just disabling of NS_client)
NS_Client++ -Says it can process event Logs.
NRPE - has several Event Log checks plugins for NT.
I have only tested NC_Net's Event Log test, and I have not recieved
any negative feedback about it.
Good Luck,
Tony
